New (Homeschool-Friendly!) Streaming Picks: September 2026

What new educational shows are on the streaming platforms this month? Check out this (updated-every-month) list of ideas that are worth your time.

Before your fall schedule fills up, take a few minutes to block off an evening for a family movie night & a movie date with your spouse or even with friends. It’s too easy to not prioritize time to relax & reconnect once that calendar fills in. Take the time now…and I have some suggestions at the bottom of the post!

Predictably, several 9/11 anniversary shows are coming out this month. I have complicated feelings about the way we handle the anniversary & teach it. (This blog post has some 9/11 resources for you.) Still, I’m looking forward to a few of them as we mark 25 years.
