10+ Easy, Low/No-Prep Ideas for Your Homeschool This Spring

Spring. Kids playing outside late, school on the patio. Mornings get started later; afternoons are more play than schoolwork. But that play?

Oh, it’s learning!
It’s gardening and it’s animals. It’s citizen science and physical education.

Reading on the patio late into the evening. It’s enjoying the slow pace, the early hum of nature, and the appreciation of this homeschool life.

More than any other, I think, it’s my favorite time of the school year.

It’s also a time that I find myself releasing myself from the expectations I set earlier in the year. Not every chapter in history will be read; every book won’t be crossed off the reading list. But we enjoyed what we read; we learned so much more history than can fit in the text and made memories that can’t be found on a scope & sequence.
