Lego Challenge Fun: Build the Winter Games with FREE Challenge Cards

These Winter Olympics lego challenges will make a great addition to the Winter Games 2022. Download 30+ ideas for creative building fun.

Lego challenges are one of the few things all three of my kiddos enjoy doing in their school day. Yes, even the high schooler!

They show up rarely, and maybe that is why. Or maybe it’s the fun themes we do. Either way, with the Winter Games ahead, a revamped set of Winter Olympic cards were a must this winter.

What are Lego challenge cards??!!

Lego challenge cards have a single task on each one, something for your kiddo (or yourself!) to build out of Legos.  They are a fun brain break for my kiddos after a difficult subject.  Or sometimes we’ll include them in a morning basket.  Or I’ll leave one on their desks so they can start with it.  I have a friend who uses these cards on road trips–genius!

Sometimes we use themed cards, like around Christmas or like this set.  Other sets of ours are more general.

If your kiddo likes them, Pinterest is full of challenge sets!

What Is Included?

You’ll receive 40 brick building cards, 32 have ideas for you, and 8 cards are blank, so you and your kiddos can create your own ideas.

There are two sets of cards:

  • an inspiration word pack that allows kids to come up with their own interpretation of that word and bring it to life {unity, heartbreak….}
  • a scene pack where students are given an item or scene to create {medal stand, a new mascot….}

Use them as separate sets or mix them up!

    Thank you for these! My 9 year old was really engaged by these and spent several hours today building flags, a luge, a medal stand, and inventing some ski/skateboard hybrid event. Excellent idea!
